Risk before returns.
Every system carries protective stops, account-level kill-switches and daily loss limits as architecture — not as options. Capital preservation is the first feature we build, and the last one we would ever remove.
NORDIC TRADING TECHNOLOGIES
We build and license automated trading systems for MetaTrader 5 — engineered with hard-coded risk architecture, proven on real tick data, and verified live on a real company account tracked by an independent third party. The software runs in your brokerage account, and there's no upfront cost — we profit when you profit.
THE PLATFORM
Nordic Trading Technologies is a software company. We license trading systems that execute automatically on your MetaTrader 5 account — you choose the system, the risk configuration, and the broker. We never hold client funds, and every system ships with the same risk controls we demand ourselves: hard stop-losses, equity kill-switches, and drawdown caps that live in the code, not in a settings file you're trusted to remember.
OUR APPROACH
Every system carries protective stops, account-level kill-switches and daily loss limits as architecture — not as options. Capital preservation is the first feature we build, and the last one we would ever remove.
Systems are tested on 100% real tick data and judged across different market regimes — trending and choppy — before a release ever reaches a client. If a configuration only worked in one type of market, it doesn't ship.
We license software; we never touch funds. Systems run on your own brokerage account, under your login, with your risk settings. You can pause, adjust, or walk away at any time — the capital is always yours.
Questions go to the engineers who wrote the systems — not a call centre. The people who configure your installation are the same people who designed the logic behind it.
THE SYSTEMS
Two independent trading engines for MetaTrader 5, each on the market it was built for. Different personalities, same risk architecture — and the numbers below come from the same full-year, tick-accurate test so you can compare them honestly.
Multi-mode gold engine · XAUUSD
Our flagship gold platform, named for Iceland's golden waterfall. Gullfoss works price levels in structured position groups with profit targets that recalculate as conditions change — a high-activity engine (over 11,000 trades in the test year) run from a real-time command dashboard, with integrated news awareness and an account-wide kill-switch standing watch.
| Configuration | 2025 backtest return | Worst basket drawdown |
|---|---|---|
| Standard sizing | +82.4% | 25.4% |
Best for: traders who want an active gold engine with strong absolute performance and are comfortable riding deeper open-position drawdowns (the worst tick-measured excursion in the test year was 25.4% of the account before positions closed in profit).
Structured grid engine · EURCAD
The long-horizon choice, named for the North Star. Polaris trades EURCAD with patient, rule-based entry laddering and small, frequent position-group closes — the highest risk-adjusted numbers of anything we build. Run it at fixed sizing for a remarkably quiet equity curve, or enable compounding and let the position size grow with the account.
| Configuration | 2025 backtest return | Worst basket drawdown |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed sizing | +17.6% (minimum lot) | 3.2% |
| Compounding | +152.5% | 21.2% |
Best for: long-term compounding on an uncorrelated pair — the steadiest risk profile in our lineup, and a natural diversifier alongside Gullfoss since the two trade entirely different markets.
Every system: MetaTrader 5 · configurable risk · no access to your funds, ever.
Figures are from a full-year 2025 backtest on 100% real tick data
($100,000 account, 1:500 leverage, each system at its standard configuration). Drawdown is
measured tick-by-tick on open positions — a stricter standard than closed-balance drawdown.
Backtested results are simulated and do not guarantee future performance.
LIVE VERIFICATION
The section above shows what our systems did in testing. This is how the same engineering performs with real money: our company account trades live and is tracked by MyFxBook, an independent third-party service that reads results directly from the broker. We cannot edit, trim, or embellish those numbers — that's the point.
Snapshot · July 26, 2026
Daily net profit from the MyFxBook calendar, May 1 – July 28, 2026 — 63 trading days, all 63 closed positive.
Daily figures as shown on the MyFxBook calendar (broker time); weekends excluded — market closed. Past performance, live or simulated, does not guarantee future results.
Snapshot values as displayed by MyFxBook on July 26, 2026; the live account updates continuously — always refer to the MyFxBook page for current figures. Live trading involves substantial risk and past performance, live or simulated, does not guarantee future results.
THE TECHNOLOGY
Development builds are tested against 100% real tick history — not modelled approximations — and evaluated across separate market regimes, so a system must prove itself in both trending and hostile conditions before release.
Stop-losses placed with the broker, drawdown kill-switches at account level, margin guards and cooldown logic — enforced by the software itself, in code, on every tick.
Our systems continuously measure what your broker actually delivers — spread, slippage, execution latency — because a strategy is only as good as the fills underneath it.
Multi-account synchronisation, monitored updates, and copy infrastructure built in-house — so installations stay current and consistent without manual babysitting.
THE TEAM
FAQ
A software company. We build automated trading systems for MetaTrader 5 and license them to clients who run them on their own brokerage accounts. We are not a fund, we do not manage money, and we never have access to your capital.
No. We license mechanical software tools and explain how they work. Which system you run, at what risk settings, on which account — those decisions are entirely yours, and we encourage you to consult independent professional advisers.
No. The software runs inside your MetaTrader 5 terminal, under your broker login, which only you control. We never ask for withdrawal rights, and our systems have no mechanism to move money anywhere.
There is no upfront license fee. Our model is performance-based — we profit when you profit, which keeps our incentives exactly where yours are: on disciplined, sustainable results rather than on selling licenses. The specifics of the profit-share and how it's settled are covered transparently on your walkthrough call before you commit to anything.
A MetaTrader 5 brokerage account and a computer or VPS that stays online during trading hours. Our team helps with installation and configuration during onboarding — no programming knowledge required.
You talk to the people who built the systems. Support goes directly to our development team, and configuration reviews are handled by the same engineers who wrote the logic.
No — and you should walk away from anyone who says otherwise. Trading leveraged markets involves substantial risk of loss. Our risk architecture is designed to control and contain drawdowns, not to eliminate risk, and past performance never guarantees future results.
REQUEST A WALKTHROUGH
Leave us a message and we'll set up a walkthrough — we'll show you how the software works, answer anything you ask, and let you decide whether disciplined automation fits your goals.
We choose our clients as carefully as they choose us. A walkthrough is a two-way conversation: you evaluate our systems, and we evaluate whether we're the right fit for each other. We keep our clientele deliberately small, and we reserve the right to politely decline a partnership.
Mutual respect, patience and straight communication are how we do business — it's what you can expect from us, and what we look for in the people we work with.
